<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance performance operability by effectively utilizing a plurality of operation faces, in an electronic percussion instrument with the plurality of operation faces. <P>SOLUTION: In the electronic percussion instrument 1 with a performance operation section 10 composed of a plurality of pads (a partition operation face) P, which generates performance sound allocated according to performance operation to the pad P by allocating a stored performance sound in each pad P, a function to set a group operation face G in which at least two of the plurality of pads P are combined, is provided. When the group operation face G is set, the same kinds of performance sound is allocated to the plurality of pads P which belong to the group operation face G, When the group operation face G is not set, a different kind of performance sound is allocated to each pad P.
