<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dual-display liquid crystal display device which is provided with a first auxiliary capacitance part extending along a scanning line and a second auxiliary capacitance part extending along a signal line, and for which the luminance characteristics of viewing angles in two directions are line-symmetric. <P>SOLUTION: The dual-display liquid crystal display device 10A has an auxiliary capacitance lower electrode 25 and an auxiliary capacitance upper electrode 30, the auxiliary capacitance upper electrode 30 has a first upper electrode 30A extending along the scanning line 26 and a second upper electrode 30B extending along the signal line 31, and the auxiliary capacitance lower electrode 25 has a first lower electrode 25A extending along the scanning line 26 and a second lower electrode 26B extending along the signal line 31. In the first and second viewing directions of two screens, the first upper electrode 30A and the first lower electrode 25A have exposed parts exposed from the light shielding area of a barrier panel 12, the shapes of the exposed parts are line-symmetric to a center line between the signal lines, and the second upper electrode 30B and the second lower electrode 25B are overlapped with the light shielding area of the barrier panel 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
