<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management method for a storage device that actualizes efficient use of the storage device. <P>SOLUTION: An error information acquisition unit acquires error information for each of a plurality of physical addresses allocated to LBA (steps S44, S46), and manages acquisition results by the physical addresses, so substitution (replacement) processing for replacement with other physical addresses in physical address units is performed.
