<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneously recognizing that an article exists at a position where the article is not supposed to exist, and reduce image processing time. <P>SOLUTION: A picking device 10 for gripping and taking out the article 1 at a take-out position includes an imaging device 3 to acquire image data of a region including the article 1 by imaging from above the article 1 at the take-out position; an image region extraction device 7 to extract from the image data an article existing image region where the article 1 should exist in the image data, based on the input height of the article 1; an image processing device 9 to acquire recognition data of the article 1 by performing image processing with respect to the article existing image region; and a take-out device 11 to grip and take out the article 1 based on the recognition data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
