PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of obtaining stable blown-off airflow by suppressing disturbance of air current in a blowoff passage even when a projection exists in the blowoff passage. SOLUTION: This air conditioner includes: a casing 10 provided with an air inlet and an air outlet 20; an indoor heat exchanger 31 disposed in the casing 10; an air distribution fan 32 which is disposed at a leeward side of the indoor heat exchanger 31 in the casing 10 and blows off the air, sucked from the air inlet through the indoor heat exchanger 31, from the air outlet 20; the blowoff passage 33 disposed between the air distribution fan 32 and the air outlet 20, and having the projection 35 on its upper wall surface; and a third horizontal flap 23 rotatably supported at an upper side of the blowoff passage 33, and having a recess 23a covering the projection 35 on a position corresponding to the projection 35.
