PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety of a kitchen knife holder by preventing a kitchen knife from being easily taken out from the kitchen knife holder by causing a locking member as a locking mechanism to perform double locking of the kitchen knife by two actions of sliding operation and locking the sliding operation so that the kitchen knife is not pull out from the kitchen knife holder. SOLUTION: The kitchen knife holder includes the locking mechanism 6 formed from: a body 3 including an insertion port 5 for the kitchen knife 1; a locking knob 7 for performing locking operation; and the locking member 8 slide-operating by slide-operation of the locking knob 7. The locking mechanism 6 performs double locking by rotate-operation of rotating the locking knob 7 in addition to the slide-operation of the locking knob 7, and unlocks the kitchen knife 1 by releasing the double locking of the locking knob 7 and thereafter slide-operating the locking knob 7 to slide-operate the locking member 8.
