<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of suppressing the displacement of a motor shaft in the radial direction, and reducing the manufacturing cost. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A ball screw mechanism 50 for converting the rotational torque of a motor shaft 43 into the reciprocating motion in the axial direction of a rack shaft 24 is interposed between an inner circumferential surface of the hollow motor shaft 43 and an outer circumferential surface of the rack shaft 24 to be inserted in the motor shaft 43. Further, a bearing 29 is provided between an outer circumferential surface 43a of the motor shaft 43 and a rack housing 26 out of the rack housing 26 and a motor housing 27 for storing a motor 40. An annular bush 60 which is elastically deformed by the external force from the inner circumferential side is held by the rack housing 26 and the motor housing 27 facing an outer circumferential surface 43b of the motor shaft 43 via a predetermined space S, and fixed thereto.
