<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a housing in which a matte effect can be imparted on a surface of the housing, and a manufacturing process is simple, and a manufacturing cost is low. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the housing includes: a step to provide a mold in which a fine uneven pattern for imparting the matte effect is formed; a step to provide a sheet and arrange the sheet in the mold; and a step in which a molding material is injected into the mold and a base material layer is molded on the sheet.
