<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a turning path of a seat back small in a fore-and-aft direction of a seat. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The vehicular seat device 10 includes a seat body 18 constructed having a seat cushion 34 and the seat back 36, a turning shaft 20 provided at a middle part in a height direction of the seat back 36, and a guide member 24 guiding and supporting the turning shaft 20 to turn freely to a vehicle body and move freely in the fore-and-aft direction of the seat and in the seat height direction so that the seat back 36 can be switched between a standing posture and an inclined posture (forward inclined posture and backward inclined posture) by turning the turning shaft 20 to the vehicle body and moving it in the fore-and-aft direction of the seat and in the seat height direction. With this constitution, the turning shaft 20 is provided at the middle part in the height direction of the seat back 36, therefore, the turning path of the seat back 36 can be made small in the fore-and-aft direction of the seat compared to the case where the turning shaft 20 is provided at a lower end part of the seat back 36.
