PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route search device recognizing a station name input by voice with high accuracy. SOLUTION: The route search device applies weight of enhancing the priority of an area name, every time an area related to a user is derived from address data of an address book ADR and mail data of a mail box MB, and searches for the station name corresponding to a voice-recognized word from a route search database 15, when the user inputs the station name (getting-on and getting-off station names) by voice. The route search device applies weight of enhancing the priority of the corresponding area name to the station name existing in the area name related to the user (step SE6) when a plurality of station names are obtained, and displays the plurality of getting-on station names on a route search screen in the order of the priority of the weighted area name (step SE8). The station name existing in the area name related to the user is placed at a higher rank in selection candidate, and false recognition and troublesomeness are eliminated thereby to recognize the voice-input station name with high accuracy.
