A method of concentration of hematite quartzites includes crushing initial ore in stages, its subsequent final fine crushing and concentration with obtaining reject and iron-ore concentrate. The crushed ore is subject to final crushing up to the coarseness -5+0 mm, then the crushed ore is subject to screening. Oversize fraction, the size of particles of which exceeds 5 mm, is forwarded for repeated final crushing. Undersize fraction with the size of the particles less than 5 mm is supplied for the first stage of classification, as a result of which the product is separated into three flows. Iron-ore raw material with the size 2.5+0 mm is subject to the second stage of classification, at which two flows are formed: one of which, represented by the particles with size does not exceeding 0.2-0.1 mm, - reject, and the second flow, enriched due to classification, represented by the particles of class -2.5+0.2(0.1) mm, is forwarded for magnetic separation. |
