<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital potentiometer wherein it is possible to adjust the amplification factor of an operational amplifier circuit provided in a protective relay with accuracy according to the input voltage and input current of a system. <P>SOLUTION: The digital potentiometer varies a resistance value according to a digital input signal. The potentiometer includes at least two variable resistance elements connected in series.
