<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive operating state detecting device for a rotation regeneration type air preheater capable of detecting the operating state of the rotation regeneration type air preheater after emergency stop of an electric motor, in the rotation regeneration type air preheater for rotating a rotor by an air drive motor at emergency stop of the electric motor for rotating and driving the rotor. <P>SOLUTION: The operating state detecting device for the rotation regeneration type air preheater includes a driving air supply detecting device 13 for detecting whether or not driving air is supplied to the air drive motor 35 and with a rotational frequency detecting device 15 for detecting rotational frequency of the rotor 33. When a signal indicating supply of driving air to the air drive motor 35 is received, based on data on the rotational frequency of the rotor 33, a determination device 17 determines whether or not the operating state of the rotor 33 is normal. When it is determined that the operation of the rotor 33 is abnormal, warning is issued via a warning device 19, so as to inform operators etc. in a central control room about the abnormality of the rotation regeneration type air preheater. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
