<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the usability for user by further enhancing the flexibility of a form which is taken by a casing (of a portable information terminal) connected by a hinge in an openable and closable manner. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The hinge for connecting a first casing 1 having an operation part 5 to a second casing 2 having a main display 4 in an openable and closable manner includes a first shaft which supports the first casing 1 rotatably in an opening and closing direction, and a second shaft which supports the second casing 2 rotatably in the opening and closing direction, which are provided in parallel to each other.
