PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a normal combine harvester including a longitudinal reaping apparatus for cutting entangled culms between culms of reaping object and unreaped culms and excellently performs reaping by the longitudinal reaping apparatus. SOLUTION: The normal combine harvester includes the hair clipper-style longitudinal reaping apparatus 7, in which a cutting action line CL connecting cutting action parts by a cutting blade becomes a standing position along a vertical direction, arranged at a traverse edge position in the reaping action zone of a main reaping apparatus 63 for reaping standing culms in a horizontal position along a horizontal direction. A reel type raking apparatus 64 and the longitudinal reaping apparatus 7 are installed so that a culm sending direction by the reel type raking apparatus 64 is perpendicular or approximately perpendicular to the cutting action line CL of the longitudinal reaping apparatus 7 on the side view of a machine body.
