摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the difference of a parasitic capacitance between each conductive film and signal wiring, in a plurality of conductive films for covering the signal wiring or the like around a display area through an insulating film. SOLUTION: An active matrix type liquid crystal display device clamps a liquid crystal between a first substrate and a second substrate. The first substrate includes a plurality of gate signal lines GLs and a plurality of reference signal lines CLs. A conductive film CEL is provided through an insulating film on signal wiring, a plurality of lines of the signal wiring WL comprise first signal wiring on the first side of a display area and second signal wiring on the second side opposite to the first side, and the plurality of gate signal lines comprise a first gate signal line and a second gate signal line. The conductive film includes a first conductive film disposed covering the first signal wiring and a second conductive film disposed covering the second signal wiring, the reference signal lines comprise a first reference signal line electrically connected with the first conductive film and a second reference signal line connected with the second conductive film, and the first conductive film and the second conductive film are electrically isolated.
