<p>PURPOSE: An air-conditioner and an operation method thereof are provided to facilitate a regular operation of a unit by transmitting an alarm signal showing a normal operation state constantly. CONSTITUTION: An air-conditioner comprises a first unit discharging air to the interior, and a second unit connected to the first unit. The first unit periodically transmits an alarm signal regardless of an order of the second unit to the second unit to notify a normal operation of the first unit to the second unit(S310). The second unit outputs a warning signal when the alarm signal is not transmitted from the first signal for a pre-fixed time(S340). A notifying data for an operation error is transferred to the second unit from the first unit when a malfunction is occurred(S360).</p> |
