<p>Disclosed is a radiation conversion panel which comprises, on a substrate, a phosphor layer having a thickness of not less than 100 µm and a columnar crystal containing a phosphor matrix. The radiation conversion panel is characterized in that the phosphor layer is composed of a first phosphor layer closer to the substrate, and a second phosphor layer farther from the substrate; the first phosphor layer is composed of the phosphor matrix and has a thickness of 0.1-50 µm; the second phosphor layer contains the phosphor matrix and an activator; and the columnar crystal has such a feature that the average circle-equivalent diameter (a) at a depth of 10 µm from the substrate and the average circle-equivalent diameter (b) at the outermost surface satisfy the following relation: 1.5 = b/a = 30. The radiation conversion panel has high luminance and excellent sharpness.</p>
