<p>The present invention relates to a buckle (1) for application on a belt (2) which can be used as a clothing accessory. The buckle (1) essentially comprises one first and one second plate (10,20). The first plate (10) defines a fitting surface (12) for applying the buckle (1) to a first end (2a) of a belt (2). The two plates (10,20) are coupled in a sliding manner at their sides. Said coupling is provided by means comprising guides (42) associated with the sides (17,18) of one of the two plates (10) and inserted in a sliding manner in grooves (41) defined on the sides (27,28) of the other plate (20). The buckle (1) according to the present invention furthermore comprises stop means to prevent separation of the plates (10,20). Said stop means comprise a pair of stop elements (45,45) each arranged at one end of a groove (41) to define an abutment and stop surface preventing sliding of a relative guide (42) inserted in said groove (41).</p> |
