<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antiallergic agent containing a new antiallergic substance having strong histamine release inhibitory action and a food and beverage containing the antiallergic substance. <P>SOLUTION: The antiallergic agent comprises an extract of rice bran malt as an active ingredient. The food and beverage comprise the extract of rice bran malt.
