<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power output device, a hybrid vehicle and a drive unit capable of further suppressing deterioration and breakage of a motor. <P>SOLUTION: A rotor 32 of a motor 30 is connected, through a rotating member 36 for the motor, to a rotating member 42 for input of a transmission 40 that is connected to an engine 22 through a damper 24 and a rotating member 26 for the engine. Further, strength of the rotating member 36 for the motor and strength of a connection portion between the rotating member 36 for the motor and the rotating member 42 for input are set lower than strength of the rotor 32 of the motor 30.
