<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel pressure control device of a direct injection engine for shortening time up to stopping an engine after an engine stopping request, and restraining fuel leakage from a fuel injection valve after stopping the engine. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel pressure control device of the direct injection engine is provided for directly injecting fuel pressurized by a high pressure fuel pump into a combustion chamber by a fuel injection valve, and includes a stopping request detecting means S101 for detecting the engine stopping request, engine stopping means S103 and S107 for stopping the engine when fuel pressure of the fuel up to the fuel injection valve from the high pressure fuel pump becomes smaller than predetermined pressure, and fuel pressure control means S102 and S105 for reducing the fuel pressure by increasing a fuel injection quantity from the fuel injection valve more than idle operation before the engine stopping request by stopping the high pressure fuel pump when detecting the engine stopping request. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
