<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball joint which has increased resistance to a pulling load with its weight maintained, and is suppressed in production cost. <P>SOLUTION: The ball joint 10, wherein a ball seat 200 has a heat staking portion 221 for affixing the ball seat 200 to a housing 300, a recess 212 has overhang sections 212b for resisting a pulling load to prevent a ball section 120 from coming out of the recess 212, the ball seat 200 has the recess 212 formed from polyacetal, and the overhang sections 212b and the heat staking portion 221 are reinforced by a resin formed by adding glass fibers to polyacetal and having higher strength than the polyacetal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
