<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst with few structural changes in a reaction environment of fluorination to attain long-term stable operation in producing difluoroacetic acid fluoride by decomposing 1-alkoxy-1, 1, 2, 2-tetrafluoroethane in gas phase in the presence of a catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: The 1-alkoxy-1, 1, 2, 2-tetrafluoroethane represented by the general formula: CHF<SB>2</SB>CF<SB>2</SB>OR (wherein, R indicates a monovalent organic group) is brought into contact with a phosphate in the method for producing difluoroacetic acid fluoride (CHF<SB>2</SB>COF). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
