<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect jobs so that the jobs can not be printed with another printing apparatus or the like in case of theft. <P>SOLUTION: When being saved in an external nonvolatile area, the job data is encrypted by the information related to the printing apparatus so that the data is not printed with another printing apparatus or the like in case of theft.
