发明名称 METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PHOTOCATALYST FIBER
摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a photocatalyst fiber which features good workability and is suitable for the stable production and enables an optical transmission fiber coated with a solution to be wound up on-line, and by which the strength of the oxidation titanium layer becomes strong. <P>SOLUTION: A mixed methanol or ethanol solution of titanium tetraalkoxide or tetrahalogenized titanium and &beta;-diketone is applied on the surface of an optical transmission fiber, wound on-line as it is and then calcined. The manufacturing method features good workability and is suitable for the stable production because the hydrolysis is controlled by the mixing of &beta;-diketone and the pot life is prolonged. Even if the optical transmission fiber coated with the solution is wound on-line as it is, fibers are not adhered with each other and the thickness of the membrane does not become unequal because methanol or ethanol is quickly dried.
