<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker capable of easily forming light transmitting parts with a small area. <P>SOLUTION: A top plate 13 has a glass plate 14, a metal thin film layer 17 formed below the glass plate 14 and a back coat layer 18 formed below the metal thin film layer 17. Some portions of the top plate 13 serve as the light transmitting parts 24a-24d having no the back coat layer 18 formed below the metal thin film layer 17.
