摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of photoreceptor capable of preventing wear and damage of the surface of a photoreceptor and, thereby, obtaining higher durability and higher image of the photoreceptor by forming the inorganic surface protective layer of an electrophotographic photoreceptor prepared by laminating an organic photosensitive layer and an inorganic surface protective layer on a conductive base in this order without deteriorating the organic photosensitive layer and by increasing mechanical strength of the surface of the photoreceptor, and to provide the electrophotographic photoreceptor. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the electrophotographic photoreceptor prepared by laminating the organic photosensitive layer and the surface protective layer on the conductive base in this order, the surface protective layer is deposited according to a plasma vapor deposition method at a temperature of the photosensitive layer of 80 to 150°C and a degree of vacuum of 10<SP>-1</SP>to 10<SP>-6</SP>Pa.
