PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a duct burner system for low BTU (British Thermal Unit) fuel material. SOLUTION: The system 76 includes a primary duct 80 receiving primary gas flow 86 of exhaust gas 34 from an exhaust duct 66, and a secondary duct 90 receiving secondary gas flow 88 of the exhaust gas 34 from the exhaust duct 66. A primary and a secondary variable shape separated flow devices 82, 84 receives the primary and the secondary gas flow 86, 88 respectively, and control flow rate thereof. A combustion system 98 receives the secondary gas flow 88, mixes the gas flow with at least one low BTU fuel material 104 and makes the same burn. The system heats the secondary gas flow 88 thereby, and re-injects the heated secondary flow 106 into the primary duct 80.
