PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the fall of a coil locked with a C-shaped hook. SOLUTION: A plate-like stopper 21 provided at a tip of a lower end 13 of the C-shaped hook 10 can be moved by the operation of a handle 25 between a locking position, in which the stopper is projected upward from the tip of the lower end of the hook so as to lock a side surface of the coil W to prevent a fall thereof, and a waiting position, in which the stopper is not projected. With this structure, even in when the loading condition of the coil on the C-shaped hook is unstable or the coil collides with an obstacle such as an adjacent structure in transportation with a crane, a serious accident with a fall of the coil can be prevented. The stopper 21 is fitted to the tip of the lower end of the hook with a fixing bolt slidably inserted into a long hole, and can be held in both of the locking position and the waiting position.
