<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cover from slipping in a length direction as well as a width direction with respect to a trough body in an ordinary closed state. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A trough structure includes a synthetic resin cover 2 covering an upper end opening of the trough body 1. Length-direction shift preventing means 3 and horizontal-direction shift preventing means are provided in positions near both side sections of the trough structure. Each length-direction shift preventing means is composed of a restricting projection 32 and a first restricted projecting section 33 in its corresponding setting position. The restricting projection 32 is formed on an upper end surface of the side wall of the trough body. First restricted projecting sections 33 are formed on a back side of the cover and are pressed against the restricting projection when the cover shifts and moves in the length direction of the trough body. The restricting projection is formed along the length direction of the corresponding side wall. The first restricted projecting sections are positioned in a state sandwiching the restricting projection from both end directions. When the cover shifts and moves in one length direction of the trough body, one first restricted projecting section is pressed against one end of the restricting projection. When the cover shifts and moves in the other length direction, the other first restricted projecting section is pressed against the other end of the restricting projection.
