<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner in which suction force is hardly reduced even when dust is sucked while securing high suction force, and does not need maintenance for a long period. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A dust storage portion 24 for accumulating sucked dust of a dust collection case 5 is provided with a dust suspension portion 37, so that after the dust is carried to the dust storage portion 24 by a circulating airflow 50 generated inside a dust separation portion 23, the dust is suspended by the dust suspension portion 37 inside the dust storage portion 24 and is prevented from flying up to the dust separation portion 23 from the dust storage portion 24. Thus, the dust stored in the dust storage portion 24 is prevented from reattaching to a filter 27, a decrease in air flow rate is suppressed, so as to provide the vacuum cleaner whose air flow rate maintenance performance is excellent.
