PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher which facilitates housing a plurality of dishes inside a dish basket and efficiently performs washing work. SOLUTION: The dishwasher includes a carrying means for moving the dish basket 3 wherein the plurality of dishes 2 are stacked and housed in a moving direction along a dish stacking direction. The dishwasher includes a washing nozzle 33 having jetting port portions 23A and 23B for jetting washing water W toward the dishes 2 inside the dish basket 3. When the washing water W from the jetting port portions 23A and 23B hits the plurality of dishes 2 inside one dish basket 3, a gap 41 required for washing is simultaneously generated between the dishes 2 adjacent to each other at a plurality of positions.
