<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device, a process cartridge and an image forming apparatus, in which an entrance seal is prevented from being nipped by a side seal and a developing roller, by configuring the entrance seal to be not in contact with the side seal although the entrance seal has a length enough to overlap the side seal disposed at both ends of the developing roller, and thereby, scraping of a minute amount of toner on the developing roller is eliminated, and dropping of the toner and toner leakage can be reliably prevented while securing the sealing property. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device 11 is characterized in that both of the length L0 of the developing roller and the length L1 of the entrance seal are longer than the distance L2 between inner sides of the side seals (L0, L1>L2); and each side seal 64 is disposed to be in contact with the outer circumference face of the roller part 34 of the developing roller 15 but not in contact with the entrance seal 63. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
