PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens drive device which can appropriately magnetically drive a moving body in an optical axis direction of a lens by utilizing the fact that two spring members are used maximally. SOLUTION: In the lens drive device 1, a first type spring member having a large horizontal spring constant is used as a first spring member 14x where an imaging device is arranged. Therefore, the deterioration of image quality is prevented even if an external force in a direction orthogonal to the optical axis direction L is applied to the moving body 3. A clearance in a radial direction is made larger at a subject side more than at the imaging device side between a supporting body 2 and the moving body 3. Therefore, even if the subject side of the moving body 3 is shaken in a direction orthogonal to an optical axis, unwanted interference is not caused between the moving body 3 and the supporting body 2.
