摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device capable of displaying moving images with high display quality. SOLUTION: A control circuit reduces an after image 91 by controlling a driving circuit so as to reduce a potential difference between pixel electrodes in a second subframe arriving after a first subframe for the partial period of an N-th frame, an N+1th frame, and an N+2th frame, and having a time width equal to or more than half of each of the N-th frame, the N+1th frame, and the N+2th frame. Specifically, the control circuit performs control so as to supply a corrected black display signal in the second subframe of the N-th frame to an (i+3)th pixel part. Similarly, in the second subframe of each of the N+1th frame and the N+2th frame, by the operation of the driving circuit under control of the control circuit, the black image signal which is a corrected image signal is supplied to each of an (i+2)th pixel part and an (i+1)th pixel part.
