PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel capable of restraining resonance generated by the vibrational energy by driving of a vibration-proof device, when the lens barrel is constituted so that a lens group comprising the vibration-proof device can move in the optical axis direction along a guide bar. SOLUTION: The lens barrel constituted so that the lens group, comprising the vibration-proof device, is movable in the optical axis direction, has a base member which holds the lens group comprising the vibration-proof device movably in the optical axis direction along the guide bar; and an energization member held on the outer periphery of the base member, wherein the energization member abuts against a member provided on the outer periphery of the base member, and makes the vibrational energy which is generated in driving of the vibration-proof device attenuate.
