<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the speed of reversing and conveying paper when the paper is double-side printed or reversed and discharged. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The paper P2 sent out is sucked onto the suction surface of a suction and discharge unit 72A by sucking air in the direction of the arrow Q7. The paper P2 sucked onto the suction surface is released in the direction of the arrow Q5, sucked to the conveyor belt 71c of an air conveying unit 71A by sucking air in the direction of the arrow Q6, and conveyed to a feed roller 66. Therefore, the air conveying unit 71A can rotate the conveyor belt 71c in the specified direction of the arrow Q4 in which the paper P is conveyed. Consequently, since the forward/reverse rotation control of a conveying motor which drives the conveying roller 71d for the conveyor belt 71c can be eliminated, the delay of conveyance does not occur, and the reversing and conveying of the paper can be performed at high speeds.
