The invention relates to a method for simultaneously detecting DNA of Histoplasma capsulatum and Paracoccidioides brasiliensis by means of the real-time quantitative multiplex PCR technique, based on specific probes marked with different fluorophores. This technique can be applied to biological samples, microbiological cultures and environmental samples. The invention also relates to a kit enabling the two micro-organisms to be detected simultaneously.
