<p>An imaging device is provided with: an optical lens (4); a CMOS image sensor (6) which converts a subject image formed by means of the optical lens (4) into imaging signals; a signal processing circuit (26) which performs prescribed processing to the imaging signal transmitted from the CMOS image sensor (6); a signal amplifying circuit (28) for amplifying an output signal outputted from the signal processing circuit (26); a diaphragm means (8) for adjusting a quantity of light that enters a light receiving surface (16) of the CMOS image sensor (6) through the optical lens (4); a driving means (10) for driving the diaphragm means (8); and a drive control circuit (30) for drive-controlling the driving means (10). When the output signal outputted from the signal processing circuit (26) exceeds a first prescribed value, the drive control circuit (30) drive-controls the driving means (10) so that a plurality of diaphragm blades (20) are shifted in the stop-down direction. When the output signal outputted from the signal processing circuit (26) is lower than the first prescribed value, the drive control circuit (30) drive-controls the driving means (10) so that the diaphragm blades (20) are shifted in the opening direction.</p> |
