The invention relates to the processes of separation of solid materials with use of magnetic fields and it can be used, in particular, in the drives of drum-type magnetic separators. A magnetic separator contains a frame, a receiving duct, a bath, a drum, which is located in the bath with possibility of rotation and consists of a nonmagnetic cowling, end covers with naves, with one of which a drive shaft in a bearing support is rigidly connected. The separator contains a drive of rotation of the drum coaxially installed by its hollow output shaft on the drive shaft outside the drum, a rod of compensation of reactive moment hingedly connected by one end with the bracket, and a magnetic system located inside the drum on its fixed axle. The bracket is shaped and is fixed on a bearing support. Another end of the rod of compensation of reactive moment is connected with the drive of rotation of drum, and the axle of hinge link of the rod of compensation of reactive element with the shaped bracket is equipped with a damping bushing. The invention provides for decrease of the time of repair and assembly works, increase of the maintainability and improvement of performance attributes of the driving unit of magnetic separator. |
