<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for performing a transaction using exchange rates on behalf of a host computer under suspension. <P>SOLUTION: During a period when the host computer 11 is suspended, a relay server 15 receives an account number and a password from an automatic transaction device 1, reads the password from an account database 15b, based on the account number, checks a customer by collating the password with the received password, receives the transaction money amount of currency, from the automatic transaction device 1, which is different from currency in the account balance of account information to be managed by the host computer 11, converts the transaction money amount into the currency of the account balance, based on the exchange rates stored in an exchange rate database 15a, and then, performs transaction processing in response to the conversion amount, so as to store the transaction history in a transaction database 15c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
