<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of preventing temperature elevation in electrical equipment of an electrostatic atomizing device without using a cooling fan. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner provided with an indoor unit 2 having an air cleaning function of purifying indoor air is equipped with the electrostatic atomizing device 18 using a peltier element 36 generating electrostatic mist during operation of the air conditioner. The indoor unit 2 is equipped with: a suction opening sucking in indoor air; a heat exchanger 6 carrying out heat exchange with the sucked in air; an indoor fan 8 conveying the air heat-exchanged by the heat exchanger 6; and an outlet 10 blowing the air sent from the indoor fan 8. When the number of revolution of the indoor fan 8 is a predetermined one or lower, operation of the electrostatic atomizing device 18 is stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
