PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charcoal fire roaster which can prevent uneven roasting of the foodstuff. SOLUTION: The charcoal fire roaster (1) includes a roast chamber (2) having a foodstuff inlet (4) from which a roasted foodstuff (M) is introduced and a foodstuff outlet (6) from which a roasted foodstuff (M) is taken out, a foodstuff conveyer (8) which conveys the foodstuff (M) in the foodstuff conveyance direction (A1) from the foodstuff inlet (4) through the inside of the roast chamber (2) toward the foodstuff outlet (6), charcoal conveyers (13, 14, 15) which convey the charcoal (10) used as a heat source for roasting the foodstuff (M) conveyed by the foodstuff conveyer (8) inside from the outside of the roast chamber (2), and an ignition device (22) which ignites the charcoal (10) conveyed by the charcoal conveyers (13, 14, 15) at the external position of the roast chamber (2).
