PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source unit in which a plurality of light sources are stably positioned. SOLUTION: The light sources 101A, 101B are held by light source holding members 72A, 72B so that the emission directions of the respective laser light beams (hereafter also referred as a first axial direction and a second axis direction, respectively) intersect at right angle with the -y side faces of the light source holding members 72A, 72B. The light source holding members 72A, 72B are fixed in a state that the -y side faces abut on the first face 71<SB>1</SB>and the second face 71<SB>2</SB>of the supporting parts 71c, 71d formed on a base member 71, respectively. Thus, the light source 101A and the light source 101B are stably mounted on the base member 71 so that the angle formed by the first axial direction and the second axis direction becomes a desired angle without complicated adjustment.
