PURPOSE: A wearable eye tracking device having goggle shape, and a method thereof are provided to trace the position of eyes extracted from an eye image based on a front image photographed through face movement. CONSTITUTION: A first camera(110) photographs a front image, and an infrared ray lighting unit(120) illuminates an infrared ray to user's eyes. An infrared ray reflection mirror(130) reflects the infrared ray, and a second camera(140) obtains user eye image based on the reflected infrared ray. An image processing module(200) designates the range that a user stars at based on the obtained front image, and traces the range in real time through a template matching. Based on the center of an eye center in the eye image obtained, the image processing module calculates the eye gaze position.
