<p>PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a method for providing information are provided to search playing multimedia related information through web searching by receiving an information search request, thereby transmitting the searched multimedia related information to a wireless device. CONSTITUTION: A wireless communication unit(110) communicates with a neighboring wireless device. A controller(180) transmits played multimedia to the wireless device. The controller transmits information related to the transmitted multimedia to the wireless device. A short-range communication module(114) of the wireless communication unit has short-range communication with the wireless device.</p> |
