<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a protection function of a microcircuit without being disturbed by an attack, with respect to the attack to the microcircuit. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method for protecting the microcircuit against attacks, including the steps of: determining whether or not any attack is detected (205); executing a protection function in the case that any attack is detected (210, 510); and simulating the protection function in the case that no attack is detected, and executing a decoy function that enables the detection from the outside of the microcircuit according to the substantially identical method to the protection circuit (215, 515).
