<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source module, and to provide a display having the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the light source module and the display provided therewith, the light source module includes a first light source and a second light source. The first light source includes a blue light-emitting body emitting blue light and a red fluorescent body arranged around the blue light-emitting body. The first light source emits red light emitted from the red fluorescent body excited by the blue light and the blue light. The second light source is arranged close to the first light source, and includes a green light-emitting body emitting green light. The blue and green light-emitting bodies can include light-emitting diode chips formed by use of substances of the same series. The red fluorescent body may include at least one fluorescent body selected from fluorescent bodies of the silicate series. This makes it possible to minimize the variation range of the light efficiency of the light source module even under temperature change, and to significantly improve the color reproducibility of the display without the need of a color feedback system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
