<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve high-speed data transmission with excellent communication quality, without expanding the scale of a communication apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission device (1) forms a plurality of transmission beams 1 to M using a plurality of antennas (15-1 to 15-4). The transmission beams 2, 3 with low correlation and excellent reception quality are selected. A datastream 1 is transmitted utilizing the transmission beam 2, and a datastream 2 is transmitted utilizing the transmission beam 3.
